Macklin Celebrini injury update as Sharks star misses game vs. Stars

Celerbrini took part in warmups before the game against the Dallas Stars , but the team announced before puck drop that he wouldn't be playing. Alex Wennberg took his spot on the top line.

The Sharks fell 5-0 to the Stars, their first loss of the season. They had won their first two games with Celebrini picking up five assists.

Celebrini broke Joe Thornton's team single-season scoring record last season with 115 points. He received an eight-year extension in the offseason that made him, at the time, the NHL's highest-paid player with an $18.8 million cap hit.
