With the Seahawks thin at running back on Sunday, they deployed receiver Rashid Shaheed in the backfield.

It wasn't something the Seahawks cooked up this week, with Jadarian Price on injured reserve and Zach Charbonnet still not all the way back from a torn ACL suffered in January.
"We've had that in all [training] camp," coach Mike Macdonald told reporters on Monday. "This isn't a quote from [offensive coordinator Brian] Fleury, but felt like it was appropriate because of [Price] going down, he gave us some speed. That was cool."
Indeed it was. Shaheed's scoring play highlighted his speed and agility in the broken field. He's a player who can make things happen with the ball in his hands. The more the Seahawks can make that happen, the better off they'll be.
