White Sox vs. Guardians live updates, starting pitchers, where to watch: Gavin Williams, Anthony Kay take the mound for Game 2 of ALDS

The White Sox took Game 1 3-0 , with a two-run homer from first baseman Munetaka Murakami headlining the box score. The Guardians loaded the bases in both the third and fourth innings but came up empty, stranding seven runners Saturday.

Left-hander Anthony Kay (10-9, 4.44 ERA) will open Game 2 for the White Sox ahead of right-hander Sean Burke, who will pitch in a bulk role. Kay made a brief appearance in Game 1, allowing one hit and walking one batter over 1 1/3 innings. Burke (11-7, 3.34 ERA) started Game 2 of the AL Wild Card Series against the Houston Astros, giving up three solo home runs but striking out eight over four innings in the White Sox's series-clinching win.

Right-hander Gavin Williams (14-8, 3.76 ERA) gets the nod for the Guardians. He'll look for more success against the White Sox than he had in the regular season, when he posted a 3.98 ERA and allowed 17 hits and nine earned runs against Chicago.
