Jim Harbaugh not firing Mike McDaniel, remains lone person hopeful about Chargers

That's the word from head coach Jim Harbaugh, who Saturday had to deal with another loss on the season and yet another moment of doubt placed on this team and its offense.

"His job is not in jeopardy," Harbaugh said of McDaniel, following the Chargers' 30-23 loss Sunday to the Seattle Seahawks . "He's a skilled coach, and we're going to keep growing."

Los Angeles falls to 0-4 on the season, in a division quickly falling into the hands of the Kansas City Chiefs and Las Vegas Raiders . It's a long season, but it feels even longer when you consider how out of sync this Chargers squad has been.
