Igor Shesterkin, NYR: Shesterkin played well in the Rangers' season-opening loss to Boston, stopping 20 of 22 shots in a 3-0 defeat. He scored a goal (!) and stopped 24 shots in Thursday's 5-1 win over Tampa Bay. Shesterkin wrapped up a successful week with a solid 28-save effort in Sunday's 4-2 triumph versus Utah. He also added an assist in the contest for an impressively productive start to the season. While the offensive surge won't help fantasy managers, Shesterkin has been excellent between the pipes. The Rangers play three times this week, and he could get the call in each contest.
Jeremy Swayman, BOS: Swayman was superb in his first two starts. He won both contests and stopped 54 of 57 shots. Swayman shut out the Rangers before earning an overtime victory versus the Jets. The Bruins host Ottawa, Utah and Philadelphia this week. The 27-year-old Swayman could get the nod for all three matchups.
Jesper Wallstedt, MIN: Wallstedt was victorious in both of his outings to begin the 2026-27 campaign. He permitted one goal in each game and stopped 45 of 47 shots. He was solid in a road win over Nashville and made seven more saves in the Wild's home opener against Boston. Wallstedt should start all three of Minnesota's road matchups this week, including stops in Buffalo, Tampa Bay and Florida.
