The Texans reclaimed the lead with just over two minutes remaining, thanks to a fancy hook-and-lateral play, but Dallas wasn't done. Dak Prescott hit CeeDee Lamb — his career-high 17th catch of the game — on a 12-yard TD pass with 40 seconds remaining.
Javonte Williams ran for three second-half touchdowns for the Cowboys, who trailed 16-6 at halftime. Dallas scored touchdowns on four of its five second-half possessions, leveling its record at 2-2.
The Texans crossed midfield on their final possession, but C.J. Stroud's Hail Mary at the end of regulation fell incomplete in the end zone. Houston fell to 0-4. The Texans committed 13 penalties for 90 yards and fell apart defensively after halftime.
