Lane Thomas returns to Braves lineup for Game 2 of NLDS

Thomas had been sidelined since Sept. 7 with a strained left intercostal muscle, leaving Atlanta without half of its typical left field platoon. He'll hit ninth and play in left for his first game back.

Also of note for Sunday's lineup, Sean Murphy is not catching but is still in the lineup as the DH, hitting seventh, after homering Saturday. Ozzie Albies, who has homered in each of the last two games, is batting cleanup behind Drake Baldwin, Ronald Acuña Jr. and Matt Olson. Mauricio Dubón moves back to shortstop in place of Ha-Seong Kim and will hit sixth.

The Dodgers are running back a nearly identical lineup to the one they used in Saturday's Game 1. The only change, either in batting order or the players in the lineup, is plugging in Miguel Rojas at third base and in the eight hole for Max Muncy, who homered yesterday to make it a 5-1 game in the sixth at that time.
