The NFL's back in London, innit?
Yahoo Sports · October 4, 2026
Both the Colts and Commanders enter the week with a 1-2 record, putting an air of importance on this game despite being so early in the season, as each team looks to avoid falling to 1-3, where playoff chances grow increasingly slim.
The Commanders will notably be without starting quarterback Jayden Daniels for the second consecutive week as he makes his return from a dislocated elbow suffered in Week 2. He traveled with the team and returned to practice in a limited fashion before head coach Dan Quinn confirmed Friday that backup Marcus Mariota would start in his place. Mariota will also be down his top wide receiver, as Terry McLaurin was ruled out with a hamstring injury.
