Open Thread: Tobias Harris trained with George Gervin

"When I was young, I used to come to San Antonio to train with George Gervin. He and my father (Torrel Harris, an NBA agent) are very close. George is practically like an uncle to me.

So, when I signed here, he was one of the first people I called. I told him, 'I'm coming to San Antonio.'

He's my guy. I've been in touch with him since I was really young—probably since I was 5 or 6. I used to come here to train with him at his academy.
