"I'm just trying to swing at good pitches, trying to put the barrel on the ball, having competitive at-bats, and keep the line moving," Tucker said on Saturday, after hitting his seventh home run in his last 23 games. "Our pitching staff has done a good job all year long giving us opportunities to win games, so we're just trying to do our part."
The home run came in the sixth inning, two innings after Tucker singled and stole second base.
Power and speed have been a part of Tucker's game throughout his career, averaging 27 home runs and 21 stolen bases in his previous five seasons before signing with the Dodgers in January, including three years with at least 22 home runs and 25 steals.
