The promoter believes fighting in Cardiff gives Joshua an edge, but the expected post-midnight start and Fury’s own British following complicate that calculation.

Joshua has secured familiar surroundings at the Principality Stadium. What he has not secured is a convenient fight time or a crowd certain to favor him.

“To keep it in the UK he's got to turn down eight figures plus,” Hearn said, as reported by BoxingScene. “AJ goes to me ‘whatever you think’ and I'm like ‘no, no, no, it's your money. I can't make that decision for you.’”
