The 31-year-old has not fought for the lightweight crown since his arrival in Dana White’s organization, despite his continued push to climb to the top of the division.

Paddy Pimblett did compete for the interim UFC lightweight title back in January and fell short to Justin Gaethje in their UFC 329 card at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
