Eagles rule WR DeVonta Smith out for Week 4 game vs. Rams due to hamstring injury

Philadelphia ruled Smith out Friday with a hamstring injury that first popped up on the injury report in the buildup to the Bears game.

The 27-year-old Smith missed the Eagles' first practice ahead of that primetime showdown in Chicago and then was limited in the next practice before fully participating in the final session and leading Philadelphia with six grabs and 65 receiving yards in the loss.

Meanwhile, L.A. will have its star receiver, Puka Nacua, back in the fold , albeit likely on a snap count. Nacua missed the past two games with a hip injury.
