Tuchel would never rule out players not in top flight

England reporter in Rijeka Published 40 minutes ago England boss Thomas Tuchel says he would "never rule out" selecting someone who is playing outside the top flight for their club, should Manchester City be relegated as punishment for breaching financial regulations.

On Tuesday, it was confirmed that City had been found guilty by an independent commission of all charges relating to breaches of the Premier League's financial rules between the 2009-10 and 2017-18 seasons.

The club, which denies guilt, has appealed against the verdict, saying the ruling contained "clear material errors, of law, principle and fact and is unsafe".
