Jalen Duren secures $200 million Pistons contract to end contract standoff

Duren, 22, agreed to terms on a five-year, $200 million contract that is fully guaranteed and keeps him in Detroit for the long haul, ESPN reported late Thursday night .

It ends a long-running contract battle that started earlier in the summer and has run right into the start of training camp, after he remained unsigned and skipped the first practices of camp.

He was a restricted free agent after the end of his four-year, $19.5 million rookie deal ended and he had not received an offer sheet from another team.
