Gervonta Davis Sets His Sights Lower With Kambosos

Kambosos, 33, has lost four of his last six fights. His name still has value from beating Teofimo Lopez in 2021, but Davis would be selling that old achievement rather than the Australian’s recent form.

The former unified lightweight champion confirmed that teams are talking while responding to @MoneyTwofly, an account previously linked to Davis. Kambosos disputed the suggestion that he had been repeatedly calling for the fight.

“Actually the complete opposite….you guys be calling more than the IRS,” Kambosos wrote on X . “Listen mate teams are talking, I fear none, just stop with the rehydration clauses ffs. A fights a fight!!! Dog fight, no problem.”
