Detroit Pistons center Jalen Duren finally has a new contract. Duren had a breakout season in 2025-26, earning an All-Star nod.

The agreement came in ahead of Thursday's 11:59 p.m. ET deadline to decide on a $9.62 million qualifying offer.
Duren averaged 19.5 points and 10.5 rebounds in 70 games in 2025-26 and was named an All-Star for the first time in his four-year career.
After being named to the All-NBA third team, Duren was eligible to sign a five-year deal, worth up to around $287 million, or 30% of the salary cap.
