Topps Flagship Basketball is back for 2026-27 , and this year’s release in October has a fairly clear job: establish the first mainstream cards of the new NBA season.
Topps has confirmed a 300-card base set led by the 2026 rookie class, including AJ Dybantsa, Darryn Peterson, Cameron Boozer, Caleb Wilson and Keaton Wagler. The checklist also includes major veterans and some notable uniform changes, including the first pack-pulled LeBron James cards with Philadelphia and Giannis Antetokounmpo cards with Miami.
For collectors, that combination makes Flagship less about one monster chase and more about setting the baseline for the season.
