BREAKING: Cowboys trading with Steelers for CB Joey Porter Jr.

Word broke late Wednesday night that the Cowboys have executed yet another trade with the Pittsburgh Steelers , this one for cornerback Joey Porter Jr. .

Reports earlier on Wednesday (and Sunday) suggested that the Cowboys were interested in Porter. Clearly that wound up being accurate as they wound up pulling off a deal for him.

Many assumed that this deal wouldn't come to pass as Porter Jr. has been holding out (essentially) from operations with Pittsburgh over a desired new deal. It would stand to reason that the Cowboys are comfortable giving him one, and given the Cowboys' history on this front this is why many assumed it wouldn't come to pass.
