Suns guard Dillon Brooks officially charged with DUI from March arrest

According to court filings from the City of Scottsdale, Brooks was charged Monday, Sept. 28 with driving under the influence, which is a Class 1 misdemeanor and carries a presumed fine of $1,623.11.

A court date has been set for the morning of Oct. 28 for his arraignment. The Suns have a break in their schedule at that time; they'll play the Thunder in Oklahoma City on Oct. 26, and their next game is Oct. 30, against the Denver Nuggets , at home.

On March 6, officers conducted a traffic stop in Scottsdale at around 1 a.m. local time, hours after the Suns lost at home to the Chicago Bulls . After an investigation, Brooks, 30, was arrested. He was released around 3:30 a.m., following the booking process.
