Brock Faber injury update as Wild defenseman has surgery on skull

Faber suffered the injury on Friday, Sept. 25 when he was hit in the head by a puck during the team's preseason game. He played the remainder of the period but didn't play in the third period.

He said that Faber is resting at home. There's no timetable for his return.

"The biggest thing is he's doing well," Guerin said. "Sometimes, you just have to put the hockey aside and worry about the human being, and that's kind of what we're doing here now."
