Bucks Media Day 2026: Highlights from Jon Horst, Taylor Jenkins, and Wes Edens

Wes Edens opened by saying the Bucks brass is "extremely excited" about the season ahead, but also thanked Giannis and his family for giving 13 years to the Bucks and the city of Milwaukee.

"It's been a minute since we haven't had [Giannis] in the building," Edens said. "It's good to acknowledge that, but it's also a great time to change and move on."

Moving to the coaching change, Edens drew on his experience as Aston Villa's co-owner to discuss how coaching can impact a team and why choosing the right coach is crucial to success. Edens said he sees the qualities he was seeking in Taylor Jenkins, saying Jenkins may be "the biggest addition in the NBA offseason."
