Terps in the NFL Week 3: Trader thrives in starting role on Dolphins’ defense

Miami Dolphins safety Dante Trader Jr. had an active Sunday on defense against the Kansas City Chiefs . The second-year Terp alum made nine tackles and defended a pass in a 24-10 loss.

Trader played 52 snaps and had the second-most tackles on Miami's defense. He's continued to be productive starting in one of the team's safety roles.

Through three games, he has 14 tackles and two pass deflections, and in Week 1, Trader recorded his first career interception. Pro Football Focus graded him over 70 across the three contests in both run defense and tackling.
