De'Von Achane out for season with torn ACL

Running back De'Von Achane suffered a torn ACL during Sunday's loss to the Chiefs, according to a joint report from ESPN and NFL Network.

Head coach Jeff Hafley told reporters in his postgame press conference that news about Achane's injury did not sound optimistic .

Achane went down during the first quarter of Sunday's contest after recording an 11-yard reception. He was tackled awkwardly before coming off the field gingerly under his own power.
