Washington Commanders reportedly signing old friend Austin Ekeler

Washington is poised to sign running back Austin Ekeler , NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo reported on Monday morning . The pact, the report states, is pending a physical.

Ekeler suffered a torn Achilles' tendon during a Week 2 loss to Green Bay, a non-contact injury that ended his season. He worked out for the Carolina Panthers last week, per the NFL transaction wire.
