Israel Adesanya followed out the door as another UFC star leaves City Kickboxing

The gym in Auckland rose in prominence thanks to Israel Adesanya’s development into one of MMA’s top stars.

After the Nigerian-New Zealander’s success as a two-time champion, Carlos Ulberg followed in his footsteps by also bringing UFC gold back to CKB this year.

Adesanya suffered a fourth straight loss a couple of weeks before the gym celebrated another champ. He is now training elsewhere, and another of the gym’s standouts is looking for a new home too.
