St. Louis Blues Place A Defenseman And Goaltender On NHL Waivers

Among those placed on waivers are goaltender Georgii Romanov and defenseman Calle Rosen .

Romanov is a 26-year-old netminder who is entering his second season with the Blues organization. He played 28 games for the Springfield Thunderbirds last season, posting an .898 save percentage and a 3.29 goals-against average.

He'll split starts with Will Cranley, who is expected to be a full-time AHLer this season.
