Knicks sign Tyler Nickel, Kevin McCullar Jr. to two-way contracts

Nickel landed with the Knicks as the 47th overall pick in this year's draft, and he was one of their biggest standouts during Summer League play.

The sharpshooting forward averaged 12.2 points over the five exhibition games, including a stellar showing in which he knocked down six threes off the bench against the Nets.

That continued the success Nickel enjoyed throughout his collegiate career, including a stellar senior season in which he knocked down 110 three-pointers, good enough for second in the SEC.
