Penguins Make 3 More Cuts Before Monday’s Deadline

They made three more cuts on Sunday, sending forward Bill Zonnon, defenseman Harrison Brunicke , and goaltender Joel Blomqvist to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.

None of these moves should surprise anyone, since they were all expected to start the season in the AHL. They all had great camps, but there's simply no room for them on the NHL roster right now.

That said, there's a good chance you'll see all three of them in the NHL at some point this year. The Penguins already have a ton of injuries to begin the season and could have others pop up during the year.
