Mets place Jonathan Pintaro on IL, recall Jefry Yan

Pintaro wound up throwing 30.2 innings at the major league level this year, and he had a 5.28 ERA and a 5.12 FIP in that time. He spent the rest of his season with Triple-A Syracuse, and he had a 4.02 ERA and a 3.76 FIP in 40.1 innings of work at that level. According to FanGraphs, he'll still have options remaining next year if the Mets decide to keep him in the bullpen mix.

Yan has a 4.87 ERA and a 4.82 FIP in 20.1 innings at the major league level this year.
