Bills debut unpopular 'Nickel City' uniforms defended by Josh Allen

However, the most striking element is the blue "Charge Helmet," adorned simply with an oversized cutout of the team's familiar logo − namely the horn and eye and the red stripe meant to depict a charging buffalo emanating from it − plus metallic blue flakes.

"The design is a tribute to the strength, grit and authenticity of Western New York's hard-working people throughout history," the Bills said on their website , adding the new unis are inspired by the Buffalo Nickel.
