The 34-year-old Russian UFC star returned to the octagon last month and Islam Makhachev made the first title defense of his welterweight crown at UFC 330 .

Makhachev produced a superb showing against Ian Machado Garry in the main event and sealed a unanimous decision win after five rounds at the Xfinity Mobile Arena.
