X-rays negative after Mets' Juan Soto leaves vs. Nationals following HBP on hand

The All-Star outfielder is dealing with a right hand contusion, and Green doesn't know yet if he'll be back in the lineup for Sunday afternoon's season finale.

Soto, of course, was struck by former Mets lefty Richard Lovelady in the top of the ninth.

He appeared to be in immediate discomfort, shaking his hand out for several moments before making his way back to the dugout alongside Green and Mets trainers.
