Blackhawks Issue Positive Update On Injured Jordan Greenway

On Saturday, ahead of their morning skate, Greenway was out there with a non-contact sweater. He hasn't played since last Monday's preseason game against the Minnesota Wild , but it was never considered a long-term thing.

After practice, Jeff Blashill confirmed that he won't play against the St. Louis Blues in the preseason finale, but he should be good to go on Tuesday night against the Vegas Golden Knights in the regular-season opener. If that ends up being the case, he won't have missed more than a week with the injury.
