Islam Makhachev teammate John Pork' Magomed Zaynukov books UFC return against 15-1 prospect

Magomed Zaynukov has already made a splash on MMA’s biggest stage since earning a contract with the UFC via Dana White’s Contender Series in 2025.

Islam Makhachev’s teammate went viral with the nickname ‘John Pork’ after accompanying the Dagestani star in New York City for his welterweight title win at UFC 323 last November.

The focus shifted from that hilarious moniker to Zaynukov’s in-cage skills when he debuted in the UFC this past summer, and he will now look to maintain that momentum with a second win before the year is out.
