Mets’ Francisco Lindor knows he has to return as ‘plus player’ after uncharacteristic season

The Mets ' star shortstop has dealt with a number of different injuries over the past year, leading to him posting all-around one of the worst statistical seasons of his 12-year career.

Lindor underwent a procedure to clean up tissue in his elbow during the winter, he missed most of camp after arriving with a broken hamate bone, then was sidelined for two months after tweaked his calf just weeks into the season.

He's shown flashes of the expected All-Star form since returning from the IL, but still hasn't quite looked like himself at times at the plate, in the field, and even on the bases.
