It wasn't just the chance to chase a ring that brought him to Philadelphia — although that mattered — and it certainly wasn't the money. It was playing with guys he wanted to play with, LeBron explains in the first episode of this season's "Mind the Game" podcast with LeBron and Steve Nash , which dropped today.

Tyrese Maxey , Jaylen Brown and Joel Embiid were the people who brought LeBron to Philly, LeBron says.

"I love the way [Brown] approaches the game, too. You know, both sides of the floor, what he brings to the game, his insight on the game. I watched him kind of [be] misunderstood, and that is absolutely okay. I think we're all individuals for a reason. Everyone's always trying to put everybody in the same box, and I love what he stands for and what he brings to the table.
