Jalen Brunson says he's 'fully cleared' for Knicks training camp after offseason wrist surgery

Brunson delivered the good news to a crowd of thousands who turned out to Randall's Island Park for the Roommates Show Block Party , a live episode of the podcast he co-hosts with Knicks teammate Josh Hart .

"As you guys know, I had surgery this offseason," Brunson said . "And I just wanted to tell you guys that I am fully cleared."

Brunson had the procedure after "playing through discomfort" to his shooting arm throughout the Knicks' run to the title, according to SNY's Ian Begley . During a radio interview this summer , he said he wasn't sure exactly when he sustained the injury, but that he began noticing it late in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference finals against the Cleveland Cavaliers .
