Dolphins’ Chop Robinson to start wearing Guardian Cap after latest concussion

On Thursday, speaking with the South Florida media, Robinson said that as a result of his latest brain injury, he will begin wearing a padded Guardian Cap moving forward in an effort to prevent further concussions.

" Just for me personally, I'm starting with a Guardian Cap, so I'm being smart about it, " said Robinson. " I want a future and [to] have kids and have a family and everything. So, I'll just put the Guardian Cap [on]. There's no harm in wearing it, so I might as well put it on. "

When speaking on the incident that caused his concussion during practice, Robinson said that it was " just a football hit ," but declined to further elaborate.
