The Mexican fan favorite has struggled to make his way back into the UFC flyweight title picture since his second reign was ended by Alexandre Pantoja in 2023.

A defeat to Lone’er Kavanagh this past February dented Moreno’s hopes of regaining the gold, but he recently bounced back with a split decision victory over Joseph Morales at Noche UFC.
