Aaron Nola was responsible for all four of the Brewers' runs, surrendering solo home runs to Brice Turang and Christian Yelich in the first and second innings and a two-run single to William Contreras in the third.

The Phillies loaded the bases with no outs against Brewers' starter, Logan Henderson , in the bottom of the second but came away with just one run on a ground out by JT Realmuto.

11 Phillies reached base on six hits, four walks and a hit-by-pitch against Kyle Schwarber but were 0-12 with runners in scoring position, their worst mark of the season.
