MLB Injury Report: Dodgers to get Shohei Ohtani, Andy Pages, and Roki Sasaki back for postseason run

Ohtani has been out of action for the last two weeks, sidelined with lingering knee and biceps injuries. Manager Dave Roberts told reporters on Sunday that the 32-year-old star should be expected to return from the injured list and join the Dodgers lineup on Wednesday. Ohtani should be in the lineup for the remaining games to get some needed at-bats before the postseason. The team also gets Pages back this week, activating him from the injured list ahead of Tuesday's series opener against the Padres. He's been out for a month with a left hand fracture. The two additions this week are obviously a significant boost for a Dodgers team looking to three-peat. Their returns likely shift rookie Josue De Paula to a reserve or utility role.

On the pitching side, Snell left his start last Wednesday against the Reds with left groin tightness. He stated the issue was not serious and plans on making one more start before the postseason. That start isn't going to come when his spot in the rotation comes up on Tuesday, but the plan is for him to pitch over the weekend, according to Roberts.
