Ranked UFC heavyweight laughs off Gable Steveson fight talk after humiliating 12-second KO

The 2020 Olympic gold medalist suffered his first setback in mixed martial arts at Saturday’s UFC 331 event in Los Angeles.

As a huge favorite, Steveson was knocked out cold by Sean Sharaf , who held an 0-2 record inside the Octagon before colliding with the highly touted wrestler on September 19.

The result marked a blow to Steveson’s plan for a quick rise up the heavyweight ladder, and one man who has long been near the top of it says the 27-year-old has a long way to go to reach his level.
