Patrick Mahomes and Kenneth Walker III lead game-winning drive in OT as Chiefs beat Colts

The Chiefs got a great challenge from the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday night. The Colts tied the game late in the fourth quarter and it went to overtime. But Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs' defense had just enough to carry Kansas City to a win.

The teams traded field goals to start overtime, with the Colts getting one after an apparent game-ending lost fumble by Laquon Treadwell was overturned on a replay review. Indianapolis didn't go for it on fourth-and-eight, but that meant Mahomes was getting the ball back with a little more than three minutes remaining, needing just a field goal to win.

The Chiefs leaned on Kenneth Walker III on the ensuing drive, and a 22-yard pass from Mahomes to Walker got them comfortably into field goal position. Harrison Butker hit a 40-yard field goal as time expired and the Chiefs improved to 2-0 with a 33-30 win, It was a rough loss for the Colts, who are 0-2.
