Yankees walked off by Diamondbacks in 5-3 loss

-- We pick this one up in the fifth inning after both teams couldn't get anything going through the first four. Austin Wells and Anthony Volpe opened the frame with back-to-back singles and Jose Caballero loaded the bases with another single. Ben Rice followed with a sacrifice fly to bring home the game's first run and give New York a 1-0 lead.

-- The lead was short lived, though, after the Diamondbacks scored two in the bottom half of the inning on a two-run triple by Jordan Lawler . Both runs were unearned against Cam Schlittler who didn't help his own cause with a fielding error on a sacrifice bunt in the inning.

-- New York quickly tied things up in the sixth on Heliot Ramos ' solo home run and then re-took the lead after Wells hit his 13th dinger of the season. Both long balls came against reliever Kevin Ginkel after starter Brandon Pfaadt went 4.1 innings.
