9/19 Gamethread: Giants @ Dodgers

Rookie Yunior Marté takes the mound for the Giants, as the 23-year old right-hander makes the fourth appearance and second start of his debut MLB season. Marté, who was called up directly from AA, has yet to get a decision, but has a 2.45 ERA, a 4.87 FIP, and nine strikeouts to six walks in 14.2 innings. His last outing was his best, as he threw five scoreless innings against the San Diego Padres in relief.

For the Dodgers, it's their newest superstar toy, lefty Tarik Skubal . Acquired at the trade deadline, Skubal, who is a reigning two-time Cy Young Award winner, has made 24 starts for the Dodgers and Detroit Tigers this year. He's 10-7 on the season, with a 2.70 ERA, a 2.50 FIP, and 173 strikeouts to 25 walks in 146.2 innings. In his last outing, Skubal threw seven scoreless frames against the Cincinnati Reds .
