It’s been a relatively tame fight week build-up between two of the most popular fighters in the lightweight division. The pair were put together in a seemingly random match-up that should act as a title eliminator but isn’t explicitly being called that by the promotion.

It led to a comical outburst from White as security intervened and kept the pair apart.

When Mauricio Ruffy raised his hands in a fighting stance to face off with Arman Tsarukyan , the Armenian decided he had been challenged. He stepped forward towards his opponent, but was quickly stifled by a security team on high alert.
