New Colts WR Keenan Allen arrested for DUI after preseason debut

The veteran wideout signed a one-year deal with the Colts less than two weeks ago after spending 12 seasons with the Los Angeles Chargers and one with the Chicago Bears .

"We are aware of the incident involving Keenan Allen last night. We are in the process of gathering more information and have no further comment at this time," the Colts said in a statement to the Indanapolis Star , part of the USA TODAY Network.

According to a Marion County (Indiana) inmate search, Allen was arrested early Sunday, Aug. 30, on preliminary charges of DUI with a blood alcohol content of 0.08 or more and DUI endangering a person. Both charges are misdemeanors.
