Join APC to discuss the LaFleur Bowl — aka the Packers’ final preseason game.
Yahoo Sports · August 28, 2026

Well, a preseason game, at least. That's what awaits the Green Bay Packers and Arizona Cardinals tonight at Lambeau Field as the LaFleur brothers' teams meet in their final games before the start of the regular season.
The Packers are 1-1 in the preseason so far, having started out with a 28-9 defeat in Pittsburgh before bouncing back to a 33-13 drubbing of the Denver Broncos. Arizona will be playing their fourth preseason game, however, having participated in the NFL's Hall of Fame Game earlier this summer. That game ended in a 33-30 loss on a last-minute touchdown run by Panthers rookie quarterback Haynes King. The Cardinals then split their next two games, beating the Las Vegas Raiders 27-14 and losing 34-13 to the Dallas Cowboys last Saturday.
As always, the final result is not the point of a preseason game, but rather what individual performances can help certain players' cases for roster spots. The Packers do not appear to have many uncertain places left on their 53-man roster, which will be decided on Sunday, but a couple of last spots could still be decided tonight.
