Illinois adds guard Quentin McCoy to roster

McCoy's an in-state add, as he grew up in Chicago and played his high school basketball at Lindblom Math and Science Academy.

The latest in Illinois head coach Brad Underwood's group of "Everyday Guys," McCoy spent his first two seasons of college hoops with the Arizona State Sun Devils, yet only played in nine total games for the team.

In his college career, the young guard only attempted one shot, so he's coming to Champaign as a bit of a fresh canvas.
